Drying Out

In typical Vermont fashion we have experienced several weeks of rain and lots of flooding leaving most trails far too wet for riding. Thanks to the recent sunny weather, however,  the trails have dried and mountain biking in Vermont is back in full swing. Keep in mind that the occasional afternoon rain shower is sometimes enough to leave puddles on your local trail, but if the sun in shining, there’s no excuse not to ride.

Don’t forget if you find a wet spot it’s usually best to get off your bike and walk around it to help reduce erosion and keep our mountain bike trails well maintained and sustainable.
